Celebrations!

The last week of work was basically a celebration.... it's been a week of a surprise department lunch, an open house for anyone who wanted to come say farewell, and umpteen coffee and lunch dates.

What a great send off on the last day.... Let's just say a sousaphone, A&W theme song, and an escort to my truck from the Facilities staff. Thanks everyone. An honor and pleasure to work with such wonderful people.

Thanks to my amazing children who hosted a wonderful retirement party for me. It was an evening of laughter and fun. I love all of you to the moon and back!

Sunday is fast approachiing, Packing was very challenging...how does one pack for 3 months? All the electronics, camera, chargers, and cords drove me nuts! But I'm ready, finally! So for now, it's farewell until I see you in May.
