On the road again back Down Under....60 years here I come!
on Samchow58's travel map.
March 7
I arrived home around midnight February 10. I received a text from my daughter in law, Kati, telling me that my daughter, Stephanie, had been in emergency that day. The doctors said that baby and mom were both doing well and there was nothing to worry about. I spent the next 3 days helping Kati and Stephanie settle into their new home and getting caught up at the marina.
On Valentine's day, Stephanie, Kati and I drove to Victoria to pick up the crib, the rocking chair and a few items they needed for the baby. The next morning, Kati texted me to tell me that Stephanie was in emergency and that she was already 2 cm dilated. Worried, I headed up to the hospital. The baby wasn't due until April 9..... 2 months early! Stephanie was so calm and relaxed.....
Smith Daniel Gerald Chow was born at 4:34 am on February 16 (2 months early). 4lbs 11oz and gorgeous.
He's been in NICU since then and will remain there for another 2 or 3 weeks. He's a fighter and I know he'll grow up big and strong!
A grandmother moment
My adventure seems like a lifetime ago with Smith's arrival. Thank you to everyone who has supported and read my blog.....I enjoyed writing it!
Until the next adventure....... stay safe and enjoy life
