Took the shuttle in to Ubud. I had to stop at the pharmacy as I have Bali belly. Bali belly is an upset stomach. Often you get it within the first week as your body adjusts to a new environment with new foods and different bacteria. I stopped at the pharmacy to get some meds.

Today we are exploring Mount Batur. Mount Batur is an active volcano and last erupted in 2000. It is located one and a half hours from Ubud by car. I had hoped to do the sunrise hike unfortunately, my knee is not in any shape to do it. So I have to settle for a drive.

The road side dotted with farm land and fruit stands.

As you get closer to the volcano, restaurants are built to provide an unobstructed view of the volcano and Batur Lake. Batur Lake, the biggest lake in Bali is located at an altitude of 1,050 meters above sea levels on the right slopes of Mount Batur. Lake Batur is on the southeastern side of the volcano. The lake is 16 kilometers wide and is a popular fishing spot. Lake Batur is the main source of irrigation water for most of Bali. Locals also breed freshwater fish here.

There are two famous Natural Springs in the area. The distance just few meters between both Natural Hot Springs. The water temperature is between 34 t 47 degrees.
