I spent my last full day poolside! Most of you that know me, know that I am not one to sit for a long time. Beach time usually means a walk on the beach, a swim, another swim, another swim and read a book in one day! It’s been a few years since I’ve done this…..until this week! This week I not only got to experience Mother Earth’s gifts - amazing sunsets, the Sendang waterfall, Tiu Kelep waterfall, the beautiful Secret Gili Islands, I tipped the scales on RELAX! I read 2.5 books, logged many steps on the beach, and swam a lot! We experienced a thunderstorm with lightening roll through the area…loud belly rumbles that shook the lounger I parked myself in.

Today I am reminded that life is short. Remember to hug and love your family!

In end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." -Abraham Lincoln

Today is travel day! I get so anxious waiting for the time to leave. Backpack is packed….seems a bit bigger and heavier but I didn’t buy anything?

The ferry ride was not fun. It was packed, the seats were uncomfortable with no leg room, worse part was you couldn’t go up on deck! it was a long two hour boat ride!!

Arrived in Nusa Penida in a downpour and met my transport. A beautiful golf cart like vehicle! I was handed a nice cold towel and a very cold bottle of water.

Checked in and taken to my home for the next week. A beautiful cottage with an amazing view of Mt. Agung.

Once settled in, I went for my dive refresher course in the pool. So much to remember!
Had dinner with Lou at The Terrace (their restaurant). A another customer joined us, Elly. Elly is Chinese and she lives in Chang Mai, Thailand. We sat for a few hours chatting.
