Great welcome back……going mola hunting

Woke up numerous times to the sound of heavy rain. Had breakfast and went for a wonderful foot massage! Our driver took us to Sanur Beach to catch the Maruti Fast Ferry. It’s a 42 minute ride to Nusa Penida.

Met our driver and headed to Deep Roots Dive &Yoga Resort. What a welcome home! The staff all recognized me…we hugged!

Had dinner with Louisa, David, their beautiful baby Eli and David’s dad, Dawie. Had a wonderful evening!

July 29
Up early for our dive today!

First dive was at Manta Point for scuba with the mantas. We saw lots of mantas, shrimps, sea horses. Second dive site was Crystal Bay to find the giant mola molas…….there was so many divers there I got claustrophobic under water! No molas were spotted.

Back at the resort we had a chill afternoon. Brad relaxed while went to a yoga class. Heading up to get the shuttle to the night market but saw Lou, David and family so we decided to join them.

Tonight was Dawie’s last night at Dee Roots. He flies back to Sout Africa on Thursday and the family was taking him to Sanur for his last night.
